Debbie Yanaga volunteers on our Food Line and in our Homeless Clothing Closet.  Debbie began volunteering when her son Tynan needed volunteer hours for school.  Tynan went back to school and Debbie stayed on as a volunteer!  Debbie is one of our “Unsung Heroes”.  Her kindness and caring make her a favorite among our clients and staff.  She brings a sense of calm in a sometimes chaotic environment.  Some time ago, Debbie began organizing our Homeless Clothing Closet in her “down time”.  She has since categorized our clothing by gender, size and category.  Debbie breathed life back into our homeless clothing project and has made it a user friendly program.  Debbie did this all behind the scenes and has brought organization to our clothing, something we all appreciate!  Debbie is a wonderful example of our mission of service and we are all a little better off because of her.
