Honored by: OneOC

Cause Area: Community & Capacity Building

Stephanie came to OneOC upon retiring from the Orange County Department of Education wanting to give back to nonprofits by utilizing her skills in evaluation and training. She assisted OneOC in the design and development of the Program Evaluation series, as well as facilitated several session dates throughout the year. Without this training we would not be able to answer the request to our nonprofit professionals who look to OneOC for training and guidance in topic areas like this one. The training is still being utilized and thanks to the efforts of her and other subject matter experts we will be able to utilize the curriculum on an annual basis. She then offered to invest her time further by aiding select nonprofit professionals that took the course, by providing one-to-one coaching to ensure the skills they learned translated back into the program work they do everyday. She worked side by side with three organizations in 2016 helping them assess their evaluation efforts and provide advisement and recommendations. At OneOC we are grateful for volunteers like Stephanie who are dedicated to serving the nonprofit sector by sharing the skills and expertise we as nonprofit professionals need in order to accelerate our success.
