Ymarketing is a south county marketing company led by Brian Yun. In late 2015, Brian Yun and his wife, who recently moved to California from Chicago, found out about Bruno Serato and Caterina’s Club and immediately reached out to see how they could join him in his mission. At the time, it was a longtime vision of Bruno’s to serve dinner to the children in Costa Mesa and Irvine, but had not done so because of the time it takes to deliver pasta from his restaurant in Anaheim to the Boys and Girls Clubs down there. After one meeting, ymarketing and Caterina’s Club developed a program that would feed the children down south: PASTARS. Each Wednesday, Brian allows his employees to leave work early at 3PM and go to two Boys and Girls Clubs in Irvine and Costa Mesa to cook and serve dinner to the children. The employees remain on the clock, and are paid for their time. Brian has given his employees an incredible and convenient opportunity to engage in the community and make an impact against childhood hunger. PASTARS program has been running since January 2016, and has not missed a week since! In addition to cooking and distributing dinner to over 300 children each week, ymarketing has made monetary donations that have sponsored two families in moving out of a motel and into longterm safe housing. That is not all! The entire team also “adopts” a family each Christmas and gifts them with clothes, toys, and furniture for their new homes. Ymarketing is the quintessential example of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Caterina’s Club could not reach as many individuals if it were not for them. To date YMarketing has helped served over 2,000 meals since they began helping us last year.
