Connecting with our community is an integral part of Cox Communications’ core beliefs. It is something we act on every day. Cox employees are committed to making our community a better place to live, work, and play, and Marc Connell demonstrates this commitment with his passion for volunteering! As a member of the Cox Charities Advisory Board, Marc is passionate about volunteering with his fellow employees. Last year he recruited team members to participate in a Dollars for Doers activity at a local school, he helped review applications for the Cox Scholars program and participated in the annual Operation Holiday Homework with Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley. Marc also believes iconnell_marc-cox2t’s important to get his family and friends involved too. He coordinated 3 families to cook and serve dinner at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. He spent 80 hours during the holiday season fundraising at a tree lot for the Boy Scouts and regularly donates blood! For Marc, it is important to recognize his good fortune by giving back to his community. He feels that it is his duty to help make others feel better, improve morale and improve someone’s situation if he can! He says “It is refreshing to do something for someone else without expecting anything in return.” Marc, thank you for your commitment to our community!
